13th Official Meeting of the IPARD II Program Monitoring Committee held within the scope of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance-Rural Development (IPARD) was held in a hybrid format (physical and online) at the Grand Ankara Hotel under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Deputy General Director of Agricultural Reform and Head of IPARD Managing Authority Dr. Osman YILDIZ.
In the meeting, informing about the MC member changes, checking the meeting quorum and approval of the Agenda, and the approval of the previous (12th) IPARD II Monitoring Committee meeting minutes were held. The 4th Annual Implementation Report and the Technical Assistance Action Plan for 2022 were presented and approved by the members of the Monitoring Committee.
At the meeting, EU Commission Agriculture and Rural Development Director-General Frank Bollen, EU Commission Deputy Head of Department Marius Lazdinis and IPARD Turkey Officer Krzysztof Sulima made their speeches and presentations.
Director of Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution Dr. Muhammed Adak, EU Delegation Agriculture Sector Manager Leyla Alma, experts of IPARD Managing Authority, General Coordinators and experts of Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution, National Authorizing Officer and Audit Authority Officials from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, representatives of official institutions/organizations and relevant Non-Governmental Organizations attended the meeting. Within the scope of implementation of the IPARD II Program, presentations were made on “Calls for applications, Contracts and payments, 4th Annual Implementation Report, Publicity Activities, Agriculture-Environmental measure, Implementation of Local Development Strategies-LEADER and National Rural Network studies, Monitoring reports, Activities carried out within the scope of the Technical Assistance Measure for 2021-2022 and studies and activities carried out within the scope of IPARD III preparations” by the Managing Authority. Besides, informative presentations were made to the members of the Monitoring Committee by the National Authorizing Officer and the Supervisory Authority.
