A workshop was organized by the General Directorate of Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) of European Commission to discuss IPARD Programme implementations for candidate countries
Head of Managing Authority of IPARD Programme, Dr. Osman YILDIZ, Coordinator Batu BENLİ and Engineer Güher KAŞIKCI GÜVEN participated to the organization held in Brussels on 24-25 May 2023.
Representatives of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (IPARD Agency), Ministry of Treasury and Finance (NAO) attended the workshop as well as the Managing Authority.
In the workshop with the gathering of all stakeholders from the candidate countries related to the IPARD Programme; presentations on the subject were made by Frank BOLLEN, Head of DG AGRI G4 Unit of the European Commission, and member states (Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia). Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, implementing the IPARD Programme, as well as Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine as candidate countries for nomination also attended the meeting as observers.
Evaluations were made regarding the closing of the IPARD II Programme, the accreditation process of the IPARD III Programme and the new measures to be implemented.
Participants shared their experiences and exchanged views for the effective implementation of the IPARD III Program, which was prepared for the 2021-2027 period.
