The 6th Official Monitoring Committee Meeting of IPARD II Programme held within the context of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance-Rural Development (IPARD) of the European Union was held in Ankara on 21 June 2018.
        The representatives of the institutions and organizations along with the EU Commission attended the meeting which was chaired by Vice Chairman Mr. Hasan ÖZLÜ, Deputy Undersecretary of the MoFAL. Mr. Liam BRESLIN and Mrs. Iwona LISZTWAN from EU Commission, the Head of Managing Authority Mr. Dr. Muhammed ADAK, the General Coordinator of ARDSI Mrs Şerife KONTOĞLU, representatives from Managing Authority and ARDSI, National Authorizing Officer, representatives of Audit Authority and the members of Monitoring Committee participated the meeting.
        During the meeting, presentations concerning applications and implementations under IPARD II, results of Call for Applications, publicity and information activities, LEADER and Rural Network proceedings, Technical Assistance activities and Action Plan, Monitoring Report, NAO and Audit Authority activities were delivered.
        The Commission indicated a need for further targeting of the Programme, eg. in favour of collective initiatives of farmers in short value chain and more added value products. The submitted action plans were approved by the Committee members. The meeting was closed with greetings and good wishes.
