In order to further develop the concept of rural tourism supported within the IPARD II program, a meeting was held on 10th December 2018 chaired by Muhammed ADAK, Head of Managing Authority of IPARD, Deputy General Director, with the participation of the relevant experts of Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (ARDSI) and Managing Authority (MA).

In the meeting, for the development of the rural tourism concept supported by the sector entitled “Farm Diversification and Business Development”, information was provided by the experts of Ministry of Culture and Tourism on the situation of rural tourism in our country, related regulations and audits. In addition, information was given by Managing Authority and ARDSI experts regarding rural tourism projects and numbers supported within the IPARD II program until now. In order to further elaborate the work on the subject of rural tourism and to reflect the new concept to the IPARD II program as soon as possible, it was decided to continue to these meetings at the technical level.
