"LEADER Approach Local Development Strategy (LDS) Evaluator Training" was held on 25-26-27 February 2020 in Kızılcahamam, Ankara, within the scope of the "Technical Assistance Project for Training for the Implementation of the LEADER Approach".

The training started with the opening speech of Mr. Haluk ÇAĞLAR, Head of Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment of the General Directorate of Agrarian Reform. Within the scope of the training agenda, presentations wer made by the IPARD Managing Authority and ARDSI. The training continued with the presentations of LEADER Expert Yudzhel Lyutvi and ANKON Consulting Project Team.

LDS Evaluator Training continued with the topics of general information about the LEADER Approach with both theoretical and interactive based practical methods, the LEADER Measure under IPARD Program, LAG and LDS Eligibility Criteria, Local Development Strategy Content and Preparation Process, Identification and Implementation of Small Projects, LDS Budget, Evaluation of Financial Statements and Action Plans, Evaluation of Local Development Strategies - Simulation with Participants and Best Practices.

"Technical Assistance for Training on the Implementation of the LEADER approach" funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey is run by the Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment of the General Directorate of Agrarian Reform within the scope of the IPARD Program and the consultancy company of the project is ANKON.
