TRAINING OF LPOS ON SETTING UP OF POTENTIAL LAG STRUCTURES AS PART OF LOCAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION MEASURE (LEADER APPROACH) WILL BE DELIVERED ONLINE.

“Training of LPOs on Setting up of Potential LAG Structures”, which is the fourth activity of “Technical Assistance Project for Raising Awareness and Capacity Building and Preparation of Local Development Strategies”, will be delivered as two modules between 14-25 June 2021.
In order to make LEADER Approach common, a new project has been started to raise awareness and motivation of local people and to support the preparation of LDS in potential LAGs to be established in Balıkesir, Burdur, Bursa, Çankırı, Elazığ, Erzincan, Giresun, Hatay, Isparta, Karaman, Kütahya, Mardin, Muş, Uşak and Yozgat.
96 LEADER Project Officers (LPOs), who have been selected in 15 provinces will be trainied on “LEADER Approach, Establishment of LAG, LAG Criteria, Preparation of LDS and LDS Criteria, ARDSI Practices, Communication and Conflict Management, and Organization Management, etc.”
Subject Experts from Managing Authority and Agriculture and Rural Development Support Instituiton and LAG representatives who formerly participated in the LAG activities as well as two experts from EU countries will be share knowledge and experience in the training program.
