My name is Mevlüt Korkmaz, I have been dealing with cold storage management since 1997 and I have 40 decares of orchard. I have heard about IPARD supports, hearing from my friends, and consulted to my business partner Mr. Peyami Demirağ and decided to apply for IPARD supports. We visited the Isparta Provincial Coordination Unit of ARDSI and completed the necessary documents to apply during the 12th Call for Application period. My partner and I together had a cold storage with a capacity of 500 tons previously. Thanks to the support provided by the IPARD, we have even started to atmospheric store the products of other producers around. We have built an enterprise at EU standards through the IPARD support which enabled us to have a more professional appearance. We are planning to re-apply for the IPARD support at the earliest opportunity. I recommend the ones with good project ideas to benefit from IPARD support.
