Forth Official Monitoring Committee Meeting realized under Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance-Rural Development- IPARD was held on 27 April 2017 in Mersin.

    The meeting was chaired by Deputy Undersecretary Dr. Durali Koçak and Mr. Liam BRESLIN and Mrs. Iwona LISZTWAN from EU Commission, Mrs. Laura ZAPETTI and Leyla ALMA from EU Delegation to Turkey, the president of ARDSI Mr. Ahmet ANTALYALI, The Head of Managing Authority Mr. Muhammed ADAK, Head of the Department of EU Structural Adjustment Mr. Ali ERGİN, representatives from Managing Authority and ARDSI, National Authorizing Officer, representatives of Audit Authority and the members of Monitoring Committee participated the meeting. A preparatory meeting was also held with the participation of EU Commission, Managing Authority and ARDSI representatives on 26 April 2017.

    During the meeting, presentations concerning applications and implementations under IPARD I and IPARD II, results of Call for Applications, Programme modification proposals, publicity and information activities, LEADER implementations, activities under Agri-environment, Technical Assistance activities and Action Plan, Monitoring and Evaluation Report and NAO and Audit Authority activities were delivered. Programme Modification proposals were approved on condition that an agreement is reached with EU Commission in the following months. Publicity activities and Technical Assistance Action Plan were also approved. The meeting was closed with greetings and good wishes.

    Before the preparatory meeting a project visit to bay leaf processing enterprise supported under IPARD I was also held with EU Commission representatives. After the MC Meeting a fish processing cold storage and a cold storage storing fruits were also visited and the owners of the enterprises gave information to EU representatives and MC members.
