The IPARD Programme, which is the Rural Development component of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) created by the European Union to support candidate countries, has been successfully implemented in our country since 2007 supporting various investments. The publicity activities of the IPARD III Programme, which will cover the years 2021-2027, are being carried out by the Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment in several provinces.
Within the scope of the ’Technical Assistance Project for IPARD III Publicity and Information Activities", the IPARD III Programme publicity meeting was held in Çankırı on September 19, 2023. The meeting was launched by the opening remarks of the IPARD Managing Authority representative Güher KAŞIKÇI GÜVEN, ARDSI Provincial Coordinator Emre AKBIYIK, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Hüseyin DÜZGÜN and Deputy Governor Recep YÜKSEL. The success of the programme was highlighted once again with the IPARD Good Practices promotional video for various investments supported within the scope of the IPARD Programme. Subsequently, the IPARD III Programme was introduced by Güher KAŞIKÇI GÜVEN, the representative of the IPARD Managing Authority. During the presentation, the measures included in the programme and the issues that are different from the IPARD I and IPARD II Programmes were conveyed. Payment Claim Operations Unit Supervisor Tunahan DUMANLI on behalf of the Çankırı ARDSI Provincial Coordination Unit provided information about the investments supported under the IPARD Programme in Çankırı province and explained the application and implementation process of the programme. Çankırı Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Head of Rural Development and Organization Section Yüksel ERDOĞAN delivered a presentation about the activities of the Provincial Directorate as well as the supports provided. During the IPARD II Programme period, Sadık ÇENDEK, a beneficiary who received support to establish a milk production facility in Çankırı province within the scope of the ‘Investments in Physical Assets of Agricultural Holdings’ Measure, set an example for the success of the programme by stating his experience and satisfaction.
Representatives of manufacturers' associations, investors, consulting firms, Local Action Groups, relevant institutions' personnel and local media organizations participated in the meeting.


Before the IPARD III Programme publicity meeting held in Çankırı province on September 19, 2023 as part of the ’Technical Assistance Project for IPARD III Programme Publicity and Information Activities", representatives of the Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment of the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform visited the Çankırı ARDSI Provincial Coordination Office as well as the Çankırı Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry to invite the representatives of the institutions to the meeting.
Following the visits to the institutions, Mehmet KIDIMAN, who founded the ‘Kıdıman Wood Processing Plant’ by benefiting from the IPARD supports in wood processing within the scope of the IPARD II Programme ‘Farm Diversification and Business Development Measure’, was visited and information about the facility was obtained. He stated that he had the opportunity to establish his dream business thanks to the IPARD Programme and that he was happy to be able to continue his family profession. Conveying his experience about the IPARD Programme and expressing his satisfaction, Mr. KIDIMAN stated that he would apply to the IPARD Programme again.
