The Development Plan, which is the highest level policy document, is taken as a bases for the preparation and implementation of rural development programmes in our country. Development Plans are prepared on a five-year basis to identify policies and measures related to all sectors (such as Agriculture, Education, Health, Environment and Climate, Energy, Transportation and Infrastructure).
In the scope of the European Union (EU) harmonization process, the National Rural Development Strategy (NRDS-4) document, which identifies the policies and measures to be implemented in our country's rural development, is being prepared regularly since 2007-2013 period in the framework of the Development Plan under the coordination of our Ministry and in cooperation with stakeholder institutions, and information meetings on the preparatory actions are ongoing
In this context, under the chairmanship of the Director General of Agricultural Reform, Dr. Osman YILDIZ, and with the attendance of the Head of Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment, Özge TEKIN, and other Heads of Departments and subject experts in the Directorate General, the NRDS-IV (2024-2028) preparatory meeting was held on August 17, 2023 at the 10th floor Meeting Room of our Ministry. During the meeting, the Heads of Departments were consulted to develop a roadmap for the preparation of NRDS-IV 2024-2028, and the meeting was concluded with good wishes and regards
