Within the scope of the "Technical Assistance Project for IPARD III Promotion and Information Activities", the IPARD III Programme publicity meeting was held in Tokat on September 26, 2023. The meeting started with the opening remarks of IPARD Managing Authority representative Mr. Batu BENLİ, ARDSI Provincial Coordinator Mr. Fevzi ÇİCEK, Deputy Provincial Directors of Agriculture and Forestry Mr. Halil İbrahim SEVER and Ümik OK, Tokat MP Mr. Mustafa ARSLAN and Mr. Cüneyt ALDEMİR.
The success of the programme was highlighted once again with the IPARD Good Practices promotional video for various investments supported within the scope of the IPARD Programme. Afterwards, the IPARD III Programme was introduced by Mr. Batu BENLİ, the representative of the IPARD Managing Authority. During the presentation, the measures included in the programme and the issues that differ in IPARD I and IPARD II Programmes were conveyed. ARDSI Tokat Provincial Coordinator Mr. Fevzi ÇİÇEK provided information about the investments supported under IPARD, and Tokat Deputy Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mr. Ümit OK delivered a presentation regarding the agricultural data in Tokat province and all supports other than IPARD.
Representatives of producers' associations, investors, consultancy firms, Local Action Groups, relevant institutions' personnel and local media organizations participated in the meeting.
Visits after the Meeting
Before the IPARD III Programme publicity meeting held in Tokat province on September 26, 2023 as part of the ’Technical Assistance Project for IPARD III Programme Promotion and Information Activities", representatives of the Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment of the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform visited the ARDSI Tokat Provincial Coordination Office as well as the Tokat Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.
After the institution visits, within the scope of the "Plant Production” sub-measure supported under the IPARD II Programme “Farm Diversification and Business Development” measure, a complex with 90 greenhouses on a 450-decare land supported only through IPARD for the cultivation of Ornamental Plants was visited in Erbaa district of Tokat. The association officials provided information about the complex managed by the Erbaa District Ornamental Plants Association.
