As part of the “Technical Assistance Project for IPARD III Program Promotion and Information Activities,” a promotional meeting on the IPARD III Program took place in Erzincan on October 18, 2023. Prior to the meeting, the Managing Authority team visited the Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry as well as the ARDSI Erzincan Provincial Coordination Office, delivering information about the IPARD III Programme. During the visits, views were exchanged regarding the ongoing efforts in the fields of agriculture and rural development. IPARD MANAGING AUTHORITY VISITS ERZİNCAN CATTLE BREEDERS’ UNION SUPPORTED UNDER THE IPARD PROGRAMME IN ERZİNCAN ... Representatives of the IPARD Managing Authority visited the Erzincan Cattle Breeders’ Union, which received support under both the IPARD I and IPARD II Programmes in Erzincan province. On-site inspections were conducted to examine the tools and equipment acquired for the milk analysis laboratory, supported by the IPARD I Programme, as well as the milk transport, milk cooling, and storage tanks, which received support under the IPARD II Programme. ... The milk analysis laboratory, responsible for analysing milk from 12 provinces, stands as an exemplary investment for the Eastern Anatolia Region. ... The President of the Union stated that, thanks to the IPARD Programme, the enterprise has witnessed an increase in the number of employed personnel, and that they are planning to apply for the IPARD III Programme.
