The workshop on the local plant species sub-measure, planned to be added to the "Agri-Environment, Climate and Organic Farming" measure, which will continue to be implemented within the IPARD III Programme, was held by the IPARD Managing Authority.
Personnel from ARDSI, Directorate for EU Affairs, Ankara University/Faculty of Agriculture, relevant units of our Ministry, Denizli/Buldan and Karabük/Safranbolu District Directorates attended the workshop. In addition, one of the faculty members of Ondokuz Mayıs University/Faculty of Agriculture Assoc. Prof Dr. Şahane Fulya Arslanoğlu also provided support during the workshop.
During the workshop, the works carried out by the Managing Authority and ARDSI within the scope of Agri-Environment measure were introduced and presentations were made by experts on our local plant species.
On the 3rd day of the workshop, a group study was carried out on the selection of the pilot area and local plant species and the workshop was concluded.
